Experience:

Robert has been in the electrical contracting business since 1977 as follows:

Electrician, Kibbutz Tsuba, Israel – 1977/1978 Performed new construction and service work.

Vice President, J & J Electric Company, Lubbock, Texas: 1978 – 1984: Robert began working at J & J Electric while finishing his degree at Texas Tech University. He worked at J&J as an electrician, superintendent, estimator, project manager, and vice president.

Vice President, F & S Electric of Texas, Inc., Dallas, Texas: 1984/1985: Robert started F&S Electric in conjunction with Condel Construction. F&S completed a major ten story hotel and office building complex in Dallas, Texas and a major hotel project in Orlando, Florida.

Vice President, Mills Electrical Contractors, Inc.: 1985 – 2005; Robert worked at Mills Electrical as a Project Manager, Sr. Project Manager, Group Manager VP and finished his career there working full time in a Business Development role.

President and Owner, Petri Electric, Inc.: 2005 – Present; Robert joined Petri Electric as vice president of construction, with an agreement to buy the company from Chuck Petri, the founder.
By July of 2009, the buyout was complete.

Prior to beginning his career at Petri Electric, Greg supervised a staff of ten for the University of Texas Library System, academic research.

Since coming to Petri Electric in 1996, he has been the leader of the accounting and business operations at Petri Electric. He has guided the implementation of accounting systems, software, and server solutions, risk management, and human resources efforts to enhance the success and productivity of all aspects of the organization. Greg brings a unique view and a professional perspective to the electrical contracting business.

Chris Holden, Master Electrician, VP

Experience:

Chris has been in the electrical industry since 1997. While he has experience in all areas of the electrical field, his focus has been commercial, industrial, major projects, special projects, and electrical service work. His knowledge, experience, outgoing personality, and “make it happen attitude” have allowed him to build, develop, and maintain strong industry relationships.

Chris joined Petri Electric in 2014 and leads the business development and the execution of the
Petri Electric Service Department operations.

John Seely

Vice President of Pre-Construction
Licensed Master Electrician, State of Texas

John has been in the electrical construction industry since 1998 and joined Petri in April of 2018. He started in the industry as an apprentice electrician and progressed to the rank of Master Electrician. He has held positions of Superintendent, Senior Service Technician, Field Estimator, Preconstruction Estimator, and Project Manager. His work experience ranges from Single-family, Multi-family, Churches, Restaurants, Museums, Schools, Manufacturing/Industrial Facilities, Multi-Story Event Centers, Tenant Finish Buildouts, Hotels, Computer Research Facilities, and Health Care Facilities in both New Construction and Service Projects.

As Pre-Construction Vice President, John leads all aspects of Petri Electric’s Pre-construction activities,
including Estimating, Design/Assist and Design/Build. Once a project is awarded, John oversees the
contract review process, the verification of plan and spec compliance and the transition from preconstruction to operations.

Aaron Colon

Vice President of Construction Operations
Licensed Master Electrician, State of Texas

After graduating from High School, Aaron joined the US Marine Corps, where he rose to rank of Sergeant, and held the position of Machine Gun Section Leader for India Company 3rd Battalion
5th Marines. He served at Camp Pendleton, Okinawa and in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.

Aaron started in the electrical industry immediately after leaving the Marines. He progressed straight through a four-year apprenticeship program earning a state fire alarm license and his first Journeyman’s license. In 2013, he earned his Texas Master Electrician’s License. Soon after his early training and licensing, Aaron began running commercial projects in the Health Care, Restaurant, Educational, Tennant finish, Corporate and Wastewater treatment facilities. Aaron was managing projects a few years later.

As Vice President of Construction Operations for Petri Electric, Aaron is responsible for overseeing all the management and installation of Petri Electric major projects.
